Rick Langer is a a photographer who specializes in abstract photography. He took the cover photograph on the Usona homepage: nautilus shells against an ancient bristlecone pine tree at Great Basin National Park in Utah.
He is also a retired attorney who concentrated his law practice for nearly fifty years in the areas of estate planning, estate administration, business succession planning, prenuptial agreements, and marital property.
Langer received his Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, in Aeronautical Engineering, from the University of Illinois at Champaign/Urbana, and his law degree, cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
In his retirement, Langer is committed to spending time with his beautiful family and friends, enjoying the creativity of abstract photography, helping to extend the astounding potential benefits of psychedelic medicines to others who are struggling with life’s stress, and studying the wisdom that arises at the intersection of the Buddhist and psychedelic experience.
