As Interim Director, Clinical Operations, Theraysa is responsible for overseeing the Usona-sponsored clinical trials. With over 20 years of experience in clinical drug development, Theraysa started her career as a clinical research coordinator and quickly transitioned to industry. Her expertise spans the entire drug development life cycle and includes international drug development across various therapeutic areas, such as CNS, metabolic disease, infectious disease, oncology, and women's health.
Theraysa earned a BS in Psychology from Santa Clara University and an MS in Counseling Psychology from California State University, East Bay. She is also a registered MFT with the state of California. In her free time, Theraysa is training to become a psychedelic-assisted psychotherapist, producing inspirational independent films with her husband, dancing, traveling, meditating, and practicing yoga.
