With 18 years of both academic and commercial background, Poonam nurtures key relationships with research and drug development collaborators to enable a wide range of clinical studies globally, as well as prepare for future commercialization of GMP drug substance and drug products. In her role, Poonam functions as a primary liaison between subject matter experts including regulatory, CMC, manufacturing, legal, and Usona’s investigational drug supply program to provide our collaborators with seamless and timely communications.
Poonam’s educational background includes a B.S. in Molecular Biology, M.S Organizational Management along with an Executive M.B.A. She has a Managers Boot Camp certification from Wisconsin School of Business along with a certification of the Dale Carnegie, Leaders for Managers. Poonam is a certificated Hogan coach and dedicates some of her time as a Hogan coach for Usona.
Poonam serves as Director and mindfulness facilitator for Fullmoon Wellness Center. Her background also includes Ayurvedic, Astrology, Yoga & Reiki studies. Poonam serves as President for her non-profit company, Naina Foundations where they work with charitable organizations in India to support the disadvantaged.
